 Pakistan Demands Action from Social Media Giants Hukumat ne Friday ke din Facebook, WhatsApp, X (Twitter), aur Instagram jaise global social media platforms se foran mutalba kiya hai ke woh un accounts ko block karein jo banned terrorist groups ke zariye propaganda phaila rahe hain.  Wazeer-e-Mumlikat Talal Chaudhry ne kaha ke ek dehshatgard tanzeem WhatsApp channels ka istemal kar ke nafrat aur misinformative content phaila rahi hai. PM instructs authorities to boost rescue efforts in storm-hit areas. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has instructed authorities to accelerate and broaden rescue efforts in areas hit by recent heavy rainfall and flooding across the country. He directed officials to swiftly restore key roads blocked by landslides, including the Karakoram Highway and the Naran-Babusar-Chilas route. The Chief Secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan was specifically tasked with ensuring stranded travelers receive shelter, food, and necessary aid. Stressing public health concerns, the Prime Minister urged immediate steps to prevent disease outbreaks in flood-affected regions. He also called on the NDMA, PDMAs, and disaster management bodies in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir to develop a coordinated response plan for the upcoming monsoon season. Army officer, soldier martyred in Mastung anti-  terror operation                        RAWALPINDI/DI KHAN: An army major and a sepoy were martyred in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mastung, Balochistan, according to a statement released Thursday by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). In separate incidents in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), two other law enforcement personnel also lost their lives in terrorist attacks. ISPR confirmed that Major Zeeyyad Salim Awal, 31, from Khushab, bravely led his troops and was martyred along with 22-year-old Sepoy Nazam Hussain from Jhelum. The operation resulted in the elimination of three terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group "Fitna al Hindustan."
